Made-to-measure curtain configurator
A custom WooCommerce plugin built for the Emerald 2000 store: customers compose their curtain, watch the price update live, and the merchant receives a complete order, with no back-and-forth needed.
The project
Emerald 2000, a Romanian curtain and drapery workshop, sells products that cannot be standardised: every curtain depends on the window dimensions, the type of finishing and the desired fabric density. A classic e-commerce catalogue was not enough.
We built a custom WooCommerce plugin that turns each product page into a configurator: the customer enters the rail length and curtain height, then picks the colour, the number of panels, the finishing type (heading tape) and the pleat density.
The price is recalculated instantly after every choice, with fabric and workmanship costs itemised, and the whole configuration follows the order: cart, checkout, confirmation e-mail and the order page in the merchant's admin. The workshop receives every measurement it needs to produce, with no extra exchange with the customer.

The checkout summary keeps every detail, and the merchant finds them all in the order: the workshop can produce without contacting the customer again.
